Valguero Is Coming!

WildCard announced their new map at the beginning of this week and everyone is scrambling to add it to their servers since they released it the following day!

Of course - we want to provide you, our members, the newest content available which is why we held a poll to decide which map YOU would like to see wiped to put Valguero in it's place. You voted, we listened! Ragnarok will be wiped tomorrow Saturday June 23rd at 6pm EST. If you need more details on this - head on over to discord!

Now, with that I know some were worried about overall size of the map (with it being smaller than Ragnarok) and, even though we were never 'full' on Ragnarok - we always run into issues of 'so and so built close to me, so and so has a huge base'. So - we are putting in a couple rules to help with everything!We will be implementing a base limit, per tribe on both Valguero and The Island. This will be relative to the amount of bases per tribe, and the overall size of your base.

BASES

 

We will be implementing a base limit, per tribe on both Valguero and The Island. This will be relative to the amount of bases per tribe, and the overall size of your base.

Valguero

Your tribe will be limited to 2 overall bases. No matter your tribe size, you are limited to 2 bases on the entire map. If it is determined that you have built more than this, you will be asked to remove the ones you do not wish to keep. If you refuse - we will choose and do it or you.

​

The Island

We are putting a base limit on the The Island of 1 base per tribe. This map is considerably smaller and we feel that one base is enough for members to work together to accomplish tasks on the map. Same as above, if you're found to have more - we will ask you to remove the ones you do not wish to keep. If you do not, we will do it for you... If you currently are on The Island and have more than one base - you will be given 2 weeks from today to consolidate into one.

Base Size

Overall - we are asking that members keep their bases reasonable. We love big bases, intricate bases etc. and want to allow you to build! But keep in mind that not everyone has a PC that can handle things. If you're going to build big etc. do so in a low traffic area (ie. do not build a large beast of a base, directly beside a spawn point/vikings bay/on the beach....)

Your base size includes your dino count. We do not want to have to limit tribe dino limit more than the base amount we normally use. We have added the Dino Storage v2 mod recently - we ask that you utilize it's abilities and the flexibility to store your dinos and even keep their mating timers and other various points in tact! If we come across a base with loads of dinos.... you may be asked to scale back. Again, if you choose not to - we will do it for you.
